Study Conclusion:

IMPACT AF, an international multicenter clustered randomized trial, showed that education, measurement, and feedback are effective to increase the use of anticoagulants and reduce stroke, and demonstrated on a large 
scale how this improvement can be achieved.

 

Study Population:
More than 2,200 patients from Argentina, Brazil, China, India, and Romania enrolled in 48 clusters and monitored for a year.
