Study Focus:
ADAPTABLE, a pragmatic clinical trial, is designed to assess whether low- or standard-dose aspirin is better for preventing heart attacks and stroke in patients with coronary artery disease. Participants will self-consent and report data through an online portal using EHRs and web-based technology.
Study Population:
15,000 patients at high risk for ischemic events randomly assigned in a 1:1 ratio to receive an aspirin dose of either 81 mg per day or 325 mg per day.
